Huawei’s Nova series has been competing with Xiaomi’s Redmi line models. But once Honor gained momentum, now there are two brands struggling with the Redmi. Not to let the letter remain the sole leader in terms of cost-effectiveness, both Honor and Nova will bring new models with enhanced features and lower price tags. In this sense, we are waiting for the fifth generation Huawei Nova 5 smartphone. Recently, Huawei’s new device with a model number of SEA-AL10/TL10 has passed the 3C certification of the National Quality Certification Center. According to the certification information, the new model (the assumed Nova 5) supports up to 40W power fast charge.
Previously, some users also showcased some phone cases that are assumed to belong to the upcoming Huawei Nova 5. In fact, these photos provide some interesting information. Say, looking at them, we can assume the Nova 5 will sport a lifting camera design. Plus, we can see this handset will be using a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Moreover, when taking into account all the leaks and rumors concerning the forthcoming Huawei Nova 5 and comparing them with the current Huawei phones, there is every reason to think it will look like the Huawei P30. It should only adjust the flashlight position next to the triple-camera on the back. By the way, one of the three will be a 3D ToF deep sensor. In addition to a Sony IMX316 ToF sensor for focusing and depth, there will be two Sony IMX586 / 380 48MP + 12MP sensors, probably with a wide-angle lens to complement the primary one. Frontally, however, the selfie camera will be a 25MP Sony IMX576.
